Commercial properties often require significant water storage capacity but have limited space available for supporting infrastructure. At East Rand Mall, the tank installation area sat within a narrow service zone between the mall building and the site perimeter alongside a busy roadway.

The Videx Solution
Videx supplied a cylindrical Aluzinc steel tank designed to provide more than 103 kL of effective water storage within a compact circular footprint. The modular tank components were transported to site and assembled in position by the Videx installation team, allowing the tank walls, internal liner, roof structure and roof sheeting to be installed progressively within the available working area.
The Aluzinc steel structure incorporates an internal liner, separating the stored water from direct contact with the external steel panels. This supports long-term durability while providing a practical, modular solution for commercial water storage requirements — the same approach used across our steel water storage tank range.
