Videx Water Tower Tanks
The Videx Water Tower Tanks are designed and manufactured as per SANS 10162. When purchasing a tower from Videx the GA (General Arrangement) drawings provided are signed off by our PR Engineer and include a civil design with bending schedule which is site specific for the casting of the civil/foundation of the steel tower/structure. Should additional technical assistance be required during the civil work beneath the tower, our PR Engineer is available for guidance via our friendly Videx Staff.

Civil Designs & Bending Schedules are Site Specific,
i.e: The PR Engineer Will Require Geotechnical reports for Tower Sites
Information
Our PR Engineered towers are site specific, and the components cannot be used on another client’s site.
Our tanks are designed by using Geotech reports (soil samples and area wind factors are calculated into the tower designs)
A tank at a higher elevation (i.e. on a tower) than the point of use, Allows gravity to do all the work of moving the water through the system eliminating the need for a water pump whether mechanical or electric.
Depending on the height of a tower, crane hire will be required.
